After a run around the Nurburgring Race Track and countless Auto Show appearances, there is no surprise Lexus’s 500-hp LF-A super car concept is nearing a production run. What’s a surprise though, is that Inside Line has learnt the Japanese super car, with a 5.0-liter V10 and a track time of 7:24 around Nurburgring, will cost a mind boggling $200,000 - or more.
Official word from Ben Mitchell, corporate product planning manager for Lexus, is that the carbon-fiber super car will have a price tag that will “begin with a two.” Unless he means the Lexus super car will cost $2000 or $20,000, there is a good chance we’re looking at a really really expensive Lexus LF-A.

The Chicago Auto Show saw Lexus announcing the expansion of its F-Sport performance accessory line on the current generation GS luxury sport sedan, IS all-wheel drive (AWD), and the all-new IS C convertible coupe models.
